2019-07-17 22:50:08 +0000 UTCWhile I definitely sympathize with Jimin (I watched that episode of After School Club live & while she was funny about it, it was also really painful to see her so upset about not having released music in a year.) it costs a lot more to release an album then what you're thinking. JYP released numbers recently on how much money it costs to debut a group & to have comebacks https://www.koreaboo.com/stories/costs-1000000-usd-debut-kpop-group-heres/ A lot of people really love Jimin & know her as a host on ASC but I wonder how many of those people actually support her music. JYP as a company seem to be better than most at releasing music....especially recently as Nathan mentions each group (starting with Twice) have their own team/task force dedicated just to them which is making everything run smoother & faster. You guys gotta check out Miss A "Bad Girl, Good Girl". Their downfall was when one of the members became a huge breakout star after acting in a big k-drama & it overshadowed the rest of the group so they disbanded awhile ago.
