2020-05-21 14:32:00 +0000 UTCAs Oliver mentioned, this is originally a Brown Eyed GIrls song (also one I feel you guys may have reacted to in the past lmao. You've reacted to 100s so I wouldn't be surprised) and this performance could have been amazing. While it was far from awful, I feel like they fell a little short. You need a lot of charisma and intensity to really pull this off. Lovelyz have the vocals, the rap skills, and the dance skills, but aside from Jisoo and Mijoo, I don't feel the other members were able to give the type of energy, charisma and presence this song demands.

2020-05-21 13:15:08 +0000 UTCSo as you're aware, Sixth Sense is not a song by Oh My Girl, whom Lovelyz were supposed to be covering for this round - it's a Brown Eyed Girls classic. Each round there were some fun challenges that the groups could undertake in their practice rooms and if they passed, they would get a random reward - for Lovelyz, after passing their challenge, their random reward was to change their cover song to one of their choice. So they went for Sixth Sense. I think it was a bold choice, but one that didn't really pay off. It's an incredibly hard song to cover well, even if you can hit the notes - the energy of the delivery is one thing, but to do it with the sassy attitude and combination of femininity and power is something very few can do, and it says a lot that a group of 8 members couldn't cut something done by 4 members.
