First Post! (and also Hereticus thoughts)
Added 2021-09-05 11:23:13 +0000 UTCHi everyone! So, after last week's comments bunfight I thought it might be time to make a Patreon and see what happens and I'm amazed to have 50 subscribers already. You 50!
Of course, having one of these, however minimal, does kinda require deciding what to do with it, so here's the plan:
- in the short term, I'm gonna out supporter names at the end of videos. That seems pretty manageable at the moment.
- I might also make some new tiers that are all exactly the same except for their stupid comedy title. That way you don't ALL have to be Squat Enablers if you don't want to be!
- occasionally, I'll ask questions about upcoming videos HERE. Canvassing for questions for the book club, things I'm unsure of regarding upcoming videos. This can be the focus group.
- in the medium term, I might look at hosting a list of planned videos here and maybe even something that's voteable or allows suggestions, but that's a little way off.
So, to kick things off, Mira and I will be filing our Book Club about Hereticus early next week, which I expect will turn into a general 'thoughts on the Eisenhorn Trilogy' video too. Might be quite a long one! So, if anyone has any questions or observations, please ask away and we'll try and include them in the vid!

If you are looking for another trilogy to subject Mira to the first three Horus Heresy books would be interesting. Iād love to hear her thoughts on them.

I know the focus of videos so far has been lore/GW history, but you've also mentioned doing model conversions. Tips and recommended tools for getting into that more would be appreciated! I'd also love a focused look on Slaves to Darkness/The Lost and the Damned. Thanks!
