Fantastic book and I’d like to know what the thought process was in deciding which types of assassins got to star in the book and why they were chosen over others.

My question would be: How easy is it to take necessarily 2D character types like the assassins and turn them into well realised, 3D characters that function within a well crafted world? Also, was the mythical knight suit at the end based on a real world legend? I haven't been able to work it out...

2024-10-12 17:10:11 +0000 UTCKingmaker is my favourite book with knights in it! I blame Robert for buying another knight immediately after reading it. Question: is the knight world with it's two houses in constant rivalry on the same planet based on a specific historical event?
