2021-04-29 12:45:52 +0000 UTCThe scandal with this round as three groups (iKON, BTOB, and SF9) were not informed of the stage budget increase, and thus they had less money to spend on their stages for this round. In spite of that, all groups did amazing in different ways in my opinion. I really love the rearrangements of the "Missing You" by BTOB and "Wonderland" by ATEEZ (plus that Kraken like wtf), SF9 brought the sensuality and elegance, THE BOYZ brought an emotionally spectacle, iKON showed an overall balanced and fun performance, and STRAY KIDS had a crazy and dynamic performance.

Iβm an ikonic and I loved what iKON did here but I have to admit it felt short of the others just because of the budget and stage props ! Performance wise tho I loved it!! Like the dance practice was amazing!!! The rearrangement and choreography ! For me tho ATEEZ was no. 1 this round cuz they were not overshadowed by the stage props and stuff like I found myself singing along and enjoying the song I love! I loved Stray Kidz creativity with their performance I really did but they took too long for me till they got into the song itself and thats why I wouldnt rank them higher even tho it was a stunning performance to be paid for!! The Boyz performance was also good and I love how they always bring something new! and SF9 had a pretty performance! My heart will always be soft for BTOB I love them so much and I love how they kept true to themselves they brought diversity in the competition! Queendom didnt have all that but each group was unique and brought something different! Anywayyss I wouldnβt rank them for this round cuz of the budget scandal and all that but I would just say that ATEEZ deserved the no. 1!!

2021-04-28 14:50:25 +0000 UTCSeonghwa shot the kraken, not Hongjoong π But yes for the first round definitely ATEEZ, SKZ, and then iKON for me were the top three. Enjoyed all the performances but these three I enjoyed the most and also felt they followed the assignment best π
