They totally know what MVP is in both countries. As far as learning Japanese, it's easiest for Koreans and vice versa compared to other languages. This is due to the sentence structure is the same, and there are a lot of similar random words. They're still vastly different languages and in no way easy, I'd compare it to an English speaker learning Spanish, similar structure and crossover vocab.
