2024 Art Summary

2024 was quite the eventful year, replete with challenges and humbling moments I never thought I'd experience nor manage to overcome, but December was quite the finale! After so many years of dedication, study, practice, frustration, and failure, I finally sampled the rewards of my efforts at Midwest Furfest! The amount of love and support I felt was truly life-changing; when I first arrived in Rosemont, Illinois, everyone was a stranger, yet I left with so many friendships with potential to last a lifetime! For once, I didn't feel out of place or isolated or inauthentic, rather, I was embraced by a community where I, and my art, seemed to truly belong.

I feel a fire, a motivation greater than ever for 2025! So many new experiences are in store, as well as new ideas I'm eager to share; I want it to be the most product year yet—the year I challenge myself to paint illustrations I've been too daunted to face, the year I complete Project Dream! So much lies in wait...I'm ready for it all.

Naturally, no post would complete without an expression of gratitude for your support; whether you recently joined or have encouraged me for a while, accept my deepest thanks for constantly reminding me these aspirations are, in fact, worthy of pursuit. I'll never stop fighting for greater skill and deeper artistic understanding, so you can enjoy high-quality stories, art, and music, the content you deserve.
