Signing off for now

Howdy everyone~

It's been a year and 7 months since I launched the Studio Magpies Patreon, and I wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who decided they wanted to pledge toward my dumb little creations >u< Whether it was for music or art, the money that you all generously gave has been incredibly helpful, and I personally decided to make sure that I spend it on something that will help give back to you all =)

As some of you may know already, I'm going through a pretty major change in my life. Moving to a new country, learning a new language, and starting a new job has been taking up all my thoughts lately. It is very exciting, but also a little stressful, and so after deliberating on it a lot, i decided I wanted to make sure I put my priorities in the right place, and focus on my new surroundings IRL for the time being. As a result, I will be unlaunching my Patreon page for the foreseeable future.

Patreon has been fun, but it also is something of a job too. I want to make sure I can provide a decent amount of content every month so that those who pledge can feel they are getting their money's worth, and lately with everything going on, I don't feel like I can provide enough content on a monthly bases for me to continue accepting money in good faith. Patreon is also a slight source of stress sometimes, knowing that I ought to create for it, and so cutting it out for now feels like the best thing to do while adapting to my new environment and work life.

I will still be working on art and music in my free time, of course, so don't expect the content to go away any time soon ;3 It just won't be behind a paywall, and won't necessarily be a consistent stream of new uploads... not that i was ever really good at that to begin with. haha. You can check in on my Discord server and my Youtube if you want to keep up to date on new stuff. Twitter will also remain sorta-kinda active, like it has been for a while now XP 

My Patreon will unlaunch at the end of the month, so you can use this time to save anything you want to save from the site. (nothing will be deleted, Patreon just doesn't allow it to be viewed while unlaunched).

Again, I want to offer a huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this Patreon over the last year and a half. The money I earned through it went towards purchasing a new laptop computer that will allow me to keep doing art and music after I move (as I can't take my desktop with me) so I hope to be able to give back to you all real soon ^^
