vapor lamp with cloth

With sister we have been working for weeks on this lamp, the lamp and cloth was done pretty fast, but working with glass materials or plastic with transparency has become very dificult lately, I dont know if the sims team did something different in the game, or if it has to do with sims 4 studio, but Im so tired of struggling and sometimes objects dont have a fix :( Also this lamp doesnt glow, Its easy to clone a lamp and make the object glow, but when it was glass or plastic then the transparency issues start. Like hundred of tiny triangles all over the cloth.
