Happy New Year!

Well, here we are in 2020. First up, Happy New Year to you all! You may have noticed that I went a little quiet over the past few weeks. Like many of you, I wanted to take some time off from work and video editing during the festive period to recharge the batteries, spend time with family, and of course eat, drink and be merry.
Now that was great fun, but too much inactivity can get kind of tiresome by itself, so I've been itching to get back into the swing of things. It's a new year and, I think, a good time to make changes and plan ahead. The first big change is that I'm leaving my job to work full time on YouTube. This may seem like an obvious choice given the success of the channel, but it's still kind of a big deal for me. The good news is that all this extra time should allow me to produce better content, and address more of the projects I've been meaning to tackle for ages.
Speaking of which, as much as 2019 was a big year for the channel, it would be a lie to say I managed to cover all the topics I wanted to talk about. There was simply too much going on. But since January is generally a quieter month in the movie business, it's a good time to catch up. So in no particular order, my plans for the immediate future are:
- The Witcher
- The Expanse (Season 1)
- 1917
- The Drinker Fixes... series
- The Drinker Recommends... Unforgiven
- Watchmen (2009 movie)
- My Top 5 Epic Last Stands
As usual, I'll be supplementing this content with semi-regular livestreams to answer questions and talk to guests. And of course, if something comes up that you feel I really ought to talk about, feel free to let me know.
