Besides the usual bugfixing, this week I was mostly busy with some quality of life features. If you open up the main menu, you will find a new entry inside: The Compendium.

The compendium has two pages as of now, the Aura page and the Beastiary page.
On the Aura page you get to some stats and summaries on how Aura has changed over the course of the game.

The personal section gives a general overview of her changes in hobbies, studies, etc. On the Social page you will be able to see how her relationships with the other characters change.

The third section gives a run-down of Aura's secondary sexual stats, so they are finally no longer invisible. If you find the cut-outs I used for the body parts weird, don't worry I plan to eventually commission some better parts for this. Currently, I just grabbed them from Aura's naked sprite.

Moving on to the beastiary page. Here information gathered from enemies you defeated is gathered. When you beat an encounter, all enemies inside will be recorded in the beastiary, with all their stats, skills, affinities, etc. Also, when you talk to NPCs and they give you useful information regarding an enemy, it is also recorded in the beastiary.

Some enemies also have "secret" traits such as Young Spider Queen and her reaction to light. These secret traits are not automatically revealed upon defeating an enemy. Instead they will just show a ?. They can only be revealed either by triggering them or by obtaining the information through NPC dialog (in this case talking to Jacob).

Aaaand that's about it. I think there is a lot more that can be done with the compendium. For example tracking how many bosses you have killed to make it easier to spot the missing boss for the victory score, or logging droppable loot, etc. etc. etc. I also have a mind to add a third page logging locations and important NPCs. But I think many of these nice to have features are more potential 2.0 features.

Huh, never thought about having those quality of life improvements. But now that I think about it, it sounds logical to have them.
