I'm really excited to pick up the comic again after the long development. So you must be wondering what's been taking so long. A few months ago, I made a post about the changes I wanted to implement for HP. The biggest change was the amount of pages you would receive from Early Access. My goal is to have Patreon a chapter ahead from the public release. For the past 4-5 months, I have been working on 2 chapters simultaneously. My initial plan was to post Ch.7 pages in batches and get right into Ch.8. This would decrease the wait time between the Patreon and public posts. After doing a little bit of math work and getting further in production, I've learned that batches will take longer to complete the chapter in comparison to regular postings. Ch.7 is about 70-80+ pages (amount of pages may change) making this my biggest chapter yet. The batches plan will not only take longer to release, it can lead to burn out for me and more delays. It will be difficult to upkeep since this year I have two huge plans coming up: 1. Moving to a completely different state and 2. Getting married. I don't want my plans to disrupt the comic and I want to avoid the mistakes I made from last year.
I'll be announcing the release date on Saturday. The wait is almost over. ♥
