Do you think that the whole arch was that he has lost everything and is alone, but he will never be alone now bc he has the daughter? Mjölnir will keep her alive and strong and they can spend the rest of time fighting alongside each other?? I don't know. I'm grasping at straws here. That movie was just... Bad.
