There’s a lot of subtle references to other storylines here, Batman not trusting a “helpful” outside source and going against them alone like the White Martians, villains using inside information against the team like Tower of Babel, etc. Do you prefer adaptations like that, blending elements of multiple stories into something new or do you like more straight adaptations like the old dc animated movies? Do you think you could have ever forgiven Hawkgirl if you were in the Justice Leagues shoes, and conversely if you were in Hawkgirls role and given an undercover assignment like that, what do you think you would have done?
