That's super interesting. There's a big split between people who like Batman better self-contained and those who like him better in the macroverse.

2019-09-23 13:20:39 +0000 UTCBatman is weird because while I think he’s a good character I don’t think he has the best comics. Granted, I’ve mostly read his modern comics, but I find that he shines in team books like Justice League with Tower of Babel. Or Brad Meltzer’s zero issue (I think) where it covers the trinity reacting to the history of the DCU and Batman had a great small scene where he’s reacting to Superman’s death.
