State of the Story

Cognosticon here. This is a break week, but I'm still checking in with an overview of the story so far, business dealings, and what you can expect.

The big thing that is distracting my writing is that I've signed the biggest deal of my life with a company that will be announced later, for five audiobooks of Depthless Hunger. It isn't an exaggeration to say that this will make or break the series, but it will give the story another chance for exposure.

And yes, you can take the above to mean a promise of a fifth book/arc. I am currently deep into it, and while I can't be sure when I will be ready to post, you can consider this a pledge from me as the author. There will be a fifth arc that covers the incursion and includes more of the world than you might expect, tying together many elements of the story that have been waiting for this climax.

I'm afraid that, between all these details, there may be another delay or hiatus. However, one thing I can promise is that you will get at least some chapters next week, including the completion of the fourth arc.
