Poll: Vote on Upcoming Maps + Update
Added 2025-05-21 20:23:36 +0000 UTCA wonderful hello to all GMs, TTRPG enthusiasts, and of course our Patrons! At Beneos Battlemaps, we’ve primarily focused on releases so far, but now I’d like to increase interactivity here as well. That’s why I’ve got some exciting news from the Beneos-verse and a direction check for upcoming content. Currently, we’re working on content compatible with the Descent into Avernus module, but we’ll still be putting out general releases in between (like the Mourn Oak). Here, you get to vote on what we should focus on: more module-related content, more basics (caves, arctic, desert, etc.), or more specialized settings (Fey Wilds, Fire Plane, Astral Sea, etc.).
BENEOS TOKENS, SPELLS & ITEMS: HUGE UPDATE

Not everyone knows this, but we also have a second Patreon BENEOS TOKENS, SPELLS & ITEMS where we offer weekly 3D-rendered 2.5D tokens, as well as custom-designed spells and magical items. Today, we’ve updated all 200+ of our creatures and created a unique Immersive Integration for each one. These include hand-tailored story prompts, foreshadowing mechanics (letting players discover clues like in a Witcher 3 monster hunt), and cinematic prompts for combat, death, and abilities—individually crafted for every single creature.
Leon shows you in this video what Immersive Integration can do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hnp8YdC0RIk
Soon, we’ll also be adding every single creature from the 2024 SRD in a Beneos-style render, boosting our token collection by over 300. This means you’ll finally have the basics and Beneos exclusives in one unified style and fully integrated.
BENEOS CLOUD

We’ve been working on the Beneos Cloud for more than half a year, and it’s about to launch for Beneos Tokens, Spells, and Items. It will allow you to import any token directly into your world from the Beneos search engine. You’ll immediately see which tokens (or spells/items) are new or have been updated. You can finally install things in bulk without manually copying files anywhere—and all at no extra cost. The Beneos Cloud also lets you automatically assign Loyalty Tokens (creatures that go out to all active Patrons each month) to your account. This is a huge quality-of-life upgrade.

LEITGEPRÜFT – THE GERMAN GM PODCAST

For all our German-speaking fans and supporters, here’s a heads-up about our German pen-and-paper podcast, where Leon, Momo and Ben share weekly anecdotes and exciting ideas about the best hobby in the world. You can find the podcast on YouTube, Spotify, or any other major podcast platform.
COMMUNITY FEEDBACK
This has been on the back burner for the past year, but the real OGs will remember that at least every six months, we let the community vote on the direction of our next releases. I’d like to revive that interaction and give you the chance to have your say. We’re currently working on Descent into Avernus–compatible content, but we also plan to keep offering generic or specialized locations. Everything will still get released, but here’s your chance to vote on which type you’d like to see more often. Instead of listing hundreds of genres and locations, I’m giving you three broad categories to get a feel for your preferences:

Continue focusing on Descent into Avernus–compatible content
We’ll keep working through the chapters (we’re already in Chapter 3) and create popular homebrew locations in the well-loved Beneos quality.

Focus on “Beneos Basics”
More wide-ranging, “everyday” content: caves, basements, taverns, snowy landscapes, mountains, etc. In other words, places any campaign might need.

Focus on “Beneos Specials”
More distinctive locations that really stand out—other planes like the Fey Wilds, the Fire Plane, or the Astral Sea. Places like the previous Mourn Oak, the underwater shipwreck, or the massive Underdark Spider Titan. Not very generic, but ultra fancy.
FOUNDRY VTT V13 UPDATE
(This concerns only Foundry VTT users.) I’m happy to announce that our three Foundry VTT modules—“Beneos Module,” “Multi-Level Tokens,” and “Point of Interest Teleporter”—have been updated to V13. Here are the changes for the V13 module (for V12, everything remains as it is):
And last but not least: This month, there will most likely be two new releases (one Descent into Avernus–compatible set and one generic pack useful for everyone). I hope you appreciate this transparent communication—let me know what you think!

Just started a DiA campaign. Your content is on another level. The maps are awesome. But almost more important the different looking tokens for all the npcs in the battle maps. That adds so much to the game instead of have just a bunch of standard bandit tokens.

2025-08-21 19:27:33 +0000 UTCI'm running 4 campaigns in parallel, including DiA with your maps. The players are getting their jaws dropped in almost every single time they see the intros, the maps, etc. I can't wait until we get to Ch3 and they can put their hands on a war machine. It'll be like Xmas for them. Thanks for the great work you do for these maps, putting our game experience in a completely new level.

2025-06-08 12:35:23 +0000 UTCThere's CoS, and then there's 'Beneos CoS.' I've DMed both, and the experience with your maps is so much better that it's beyond comparison. I'm about to start DiA, and the only reason is because of your maps. Please, keep up the amazing work!
