MSPaint challenge!
Added 2019-07-20 06:35:23 +0000 UTCToday the power went out and stayed out til 12am. My brain melted... and I did the MSPaint art challenge that’s been going around twitter!
(I really wanted to try it and had the old xp screenshot saved to my iPad already)
It was really fun trying to make my character, Juniper fit with the limited color palette in the screencap. I’d like to try this again with my other characters, though as I feel like there’s a lot of fun possibilities for my monochrome monster, Levi particularly and growl would be a blast as well!!
Regardless, this was FUN!
It helped pass the time without power, and, folks seriously this is another plus of the iPad for art. I’m bit constrained near as much away from a wall socket.

And, while this isn’t technically “pixel art” it was INCREDIBLY fun to do.
If you have been thinking of trying out this art challenge, I totally recommend it! It’s a nice way to unwind and also practice working with limited colors, which I feel is a good skill workout.
