BlogPost: Merch, The Future and plans for September! (Holo DaggerWolf should have arrived!)

Hey guys!

Just stopping by with a general blog post to update y'all on things as well as share some plans I have coming together in the future!!

Above is a design I farted out the other day due to StickerMule having a pretty rad deal on buttons. 50 buttons for $9! WOO

SO I got that Lion made as well as a batch with my logo which just arrived today!:

These bad boys are planned as GIFTS!! haha that's right!

The buttons will go out as freebies when I send stuff out to you rad creatures here on patreon as well as when people buy merch from me otherwise!

I just know I personally love getting little swag gifts when I order things, and I found myself wishing I had SOMETHING extra to pack away when I was putting together letters with stickers the other day as well.

Overall, my first small dip into merch creation and sale was an amazing success. It's given me SO much motivation to move forward and create more!

On that note, here's an overview of merch ideas/plans.

DaggerWolf:

- I will be doing a full order (at least 100 ct) of the DaggerWolf Design soon, but it won't be holo. I'll be having it printed in either a brushed metal-like material or a shiny mirror metal-like material. The shiny parts will be: Dagger blades, teeth, eyes. (no shiny border.. unless I decide it's better looking after seeing the proof, I do like the holo border on the Alpha design)

- Holo v.2! This is gonna be a slightly different design from the Alpha. Daggers and eyes will be holo, teeth will be white BUT there will be a drippy "blood" effect coming from the mouth that will also be holo. TBD if I will change the daggers to a solid grey instead.

(unfortunately I cannot mix n match materials. It's gotta be all holo, or all brushed metal, or all whatever chosen material.)

-Outdoor/weather resistant! It's been requested of me, and asked a lot if the DaggerWolf sticker is okay to be put on a car or otherwise outside. I don't recommend that with the Alpha design or any  of the before-mentioned variants. I do plan on doing a run for this though! unfortunately, the durable material is a matte vinyl, so no shinines. Womp womp.

The next design:

-All in all, this is TBD! What I want to do is have a poll where people here on patreon can vote on what the next sticker design will be!

Beyond stickers!

-This whole process is gonna be taken a step at a time. I DO plan on eventually venturing into pins as well as t-shirts! I just have a lot of homework to do as far as manufacturers. I have certain quality standards and I don't want to cut corners and get a cruddy product.

As far as shirts go, I would need a company who can do silk screening or otherwise THAT level of durability. I do not like shirts that feel like stickers applied to fabric, or ink that easily stretches and cracks. You all know what I'm talking about. UGH. NO THANKS!

(if you know good manufacturers for pins/shirts, give me a holler!)

All of this is incredibly exciting for me, and it's an honor to have all of you here for it with me!

So far, I'm not gonna place a hard deadline on the next DaggerWolf variant but I would LIKE to have a line for sale next month.

I always want to try my best to take care of those who take care of me as well. So, just for being a patron, you'll likely receive things like buttons or small stickers every so often when I can swing it for you all just cause.. it brings me great joy to do so.

However, if you really like the direction merch is headed and want to make sure you have first access on sales and discounts, peep that $15 tier <3

September will bring another free color-able base! Maybe you can play with the idea of your oc as a snep or shep? Maybe you guys will have to decide; What species gets september? Will it be Sheptember? Will it be Sneptember?

Personal stuff!

I'm house sitting till the 6th! It's been so nice being in a beautiful home. This place is bigger and has beautiful big windows that let in lots of natural light which actually has had a positive reaction with my mental state! THAT SUNLIGHT MATTERS, GUYS! Plus, taking care of the larger garden here has been WORK but GOOD WORK. It's forcing me outside more which honestly is good too.

For everyone reading who works a desk job or is an artist, I cannot stress how important it is to make sure you get up, move around and get some fresh air and sunlight throughout the day.

You should be getting up and moving around once an hour or even more if you can. Sitting for extended periods, over extended periods of time not only has risks involving things like obesity ofc but even if you're otherwise healthy or thin, you run the risk of terrifying stuff like Pulmonary Embolism (which is where blood clots in your legs and travels through your circulatory system and eventually into your lungs, where it can get trapped which causes shortness of breath, pain and can even lead to serious situations requiring the ER because it can be life threatening.)

Wearing compression socks can help but the best thing is just to make sure you get up and get your blood flowing.

I know I say it a lot, but I really feel it and mean it; You guys make this possible. Your support means the world to me and I am eternally grateful to have each of you here with me.
