So, recently I was talking to Domani about self identification in furry form. Don’t get me wrong, being a wolverine was very much part of this conversation! Growl, my fursona is definitely “me as an animal” but, I come from deep deviantart wolf artist roots, I needed to have a “canine me” I can draw when my hands want to revisit familiar shapes. Coyote shapes.

So, I was working on making a coywolf with Domi, and we decided on a darker brownish mongrel.. but we both were kind of struggling with how to design them..

I ended up buying a (twitter handle) @YodelDogStudios design that Domi had and had not used and edited it with Domi to make it fit.

But, I think I may have too many characters now...nah. No such thing!

So, what does that mean for poor Juniper? Nothing really, she just wasn’t “me” as much as I wanted. So, she’s a character while thistle has some representation of me in them! I’m gonna draw them together a bunch, I suspect 😈
