September Blog Post - Improvment September Campaign !

Hey everyone!

It's been a bit since I've done a proper blog post! Time to fix that RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW. I hope you all have been well!

I'm glad I've been getting back on track with things but, it's made me aware that I feel a sense of being "not content" with the current quality of my work. While I feel I am always on a steady path of improvement, I never want to stagnate with my creative endeavors. So, I want to dedicate September to GETTING BETTER AT THINGS I SUCK AT!

So, here's my overall plan.

Areas of focus I want to visit:

-Digital painting/less reliance on linework.

-Humans/humanoids (trying to find a style that works for me).

-Better realism with animals when I am not going specifically for "anthro" art.

What I'm gonna be sharing specifically because of this:

-Practice pages.

-Posts about what I've learned.

-Sharing resources that have helped me.

-Hopefully offering some freebies.

Additionally, I'm going to be visiting NJ on the 3rd and will not be able to work on anything NSFW so, if any of you want to suggest animal species or specific characters from video games/movies that you'd like to see me make fanart of while I'm away from home, please reach out!

I really want to work on improving my humanoids! I need to WORK OUT THESE ART MUSCLES AND BECOME STRONGER! So I want to avoid my "comfort zones" as much as possible. So, I will only draw werewolves/wolves/canines if I really am not able to do anything else. It's time to IMPROVE!!

I can’t wait to delve into this endeavor and share my process with all of you. I’m excited to visit an area I’ve never been before!
