"Out of Touch" by Story Anon [Cross promotion]

TD: Hey all, please check out our friend Story Anon's wonderful passion project, Out of Touch.   It's a narrative focused visual novel packed full of humor, friendship, and crazy anime shit - harkoning back to the charages that first sparked my interest in visual novels more than a decade ago.   One part warmly familiar and tropey, one part quixotic and experimental, and full of heart, OoT skyrocketed to one of my favorite ongoing projects when I (finally!) picked it up a couple of months ago. OoT, without giving anything away, is a story presented in a loud and dramatic way, oozing with confidence, and supported by an unwavering vision that makes it something you'll either love or hate - meaning it's one of the few western visual novels, that love OR hate, is doing something interesting and worth a damn.   For that very reason alone, I ask you to check it out.

GIL: Story Anon's Out of Touch is an incredibly unique game. It reminds me so much of my first works back in the Haremmate days, not only for the aesthetic, but for the ambition and the overwhelming passion it irradiates. In a way, what connects our works is that they're definitely not for everyone, but if you like what you see once you give it a try, you'll have a veritable banquet ahead. SA is the most diligent and hard-working developer I've ever met, and he's telling this tale with all he's got. Let yourself be enthralled by the single best BGM in any AVN! I truly hope you enjoy the ride. 

Synopsis

Out of Touch is a psychedelic melodramatic comedy about a group of childhood friends as they grow up, grow apart, and reconnect...before 

everything really goes off the deep end! 

Taking an inspiration from psychedelic thrillers, Out of Touch is an extremely odd journey through several genres from teenage romance 

to existential horror.

After being sent away by his mother due to a terrible misunderstanding involving his closest friend, our protagonist CJ returns years later for the last two semesters of high school completely changed in both body and spirit.

Wielding a newfound power and determined to rekindle his old relationships, can CJ convince his friends he's the same person they used to know? Can he avoid ruining absolutely everything like the doofus he is?
