Chapter 10 – Reward

*BAGYAAAAAAAAAAAA!*

Metallic sound rang out thunderously. The glans of the Rock Turtle that was presumed to be level 180 were smashed to pieces.

The Rock Turtle couldn’t even scream with its vital spots pulverized.  It crumbled on the spot and silence finally returned to the underground  cavern.

「Fuu, that was really dangerous, but luckily I could defeat it before  the cavern cave-in……Alicia, are you and that girl alright?」

「……Yes. I also put up the Sacred Defense barrier. Teresa is also alright. ……Hey Erio, more importantly……」

Alicia pointed at the fallen giant Rock Turtle.

I turned around from her words. There was the Rock Turtle’s corpse at that direction.

Transparent crystal peeked out from its smashed steel carapace.

When I looked closer, only the surface of the carapace covering its  body was made from iron, while underneath it was mostly crystal.

「Don’t tell me, this rock turtle isn’t a picky eater for iron but omnivorous!?」

I took out the appraisal crystal in a hurry and tried appraising the exposed crystal.

That was undoubtedly the material for appraisal crystal that Route-san asked us to gather.

I gulped audibly and inserted my penis sword into the Rock Turtle’s huge shell.

「Other monster won’t bother with the rock crystal, so let’s just  bring a fragment of it back with us for now. Right now our priority is  taking Teresa back to the village as fast as possible.」

For some reason Alicia stared at my face happily. And so we escaped from the cavern together at that note.

We returned to the village by heading toward the smoke signal, together with the unconscious girl who loved her father.

The village was wrapped in joy after I brought Teresa back.

From the start everyone was already excited because there was no  death from the landslide. When it was combined with Teresa’s dramatic  return, even the unrelated people started merrymaking for some reason. A  party was spontaneously being held.

「Thank you……! Thank you……! I really can’t thank you enough for what you have done for me……!」

In the middle of such party, Teresa’s father was bowing his head to  me so low his head almost touched the ground. Alicia healed the father  with her healing skill after there was no more worry that he would run  off to the dangerous area after Teresa had been returned. I prompted the father to lift his head already while speaking to him.

I left the bed where Alicia was sleeping and opened the door while wondering who it could be.

Then the one standing there was,

「Good evening, Eriol-sama. You have achieved great things today haven’t you?」

「Sister Claire……?」

For some reason this outrageous nun came here alone without even  bringing her bodyguard, the female knight Sylvia-san with her. She  stared at me with a sweet graceful smile.
