Chapter 12: Demon King VS Orc-san

Lilith’s movement was fast.

She was equal with the Hero of Azure Thunder Mireille Forland who boasted lightning speed.

The magic looked black not because it had created something black. The cause of the blackness was because the magic was devouring the light.

Therefore the offensive power of that magic was the strongest. Even orichalcum was powerless in front of darkness magic. At the same time darkness would also become the strongest shield if the user wrapped it around their body.

『But, it’s not invincible.』

Just like how it consumed magic power when creating something from nothing using the magic of four elements, dark element also consumed magic power in order to annihilate something.

The black membrane covered Lilith’s hwole body before she was covered by the iron. That membrane now had frays because the darkness was consumed from devouring the steel.

Then what should I do was aiming at that gap. And I should do it  with a speed that Lilith couldn’t react against.

That was the purpose of the combination magic of wind and water that I had been chanting since some time ago.
