NIFL’s battleship Naglfar was observing the vanishing Ragnarok’s mist and the appearing dome of unknown territory from the air.

Because seawater was flowing into the space that was isolated by the mist, the sea below was greatly undulating.

「Shinomiya-sensei──the signal from the terminals of Firill Crest, Ariella Lu, Iris Freya, and Tia Lightning who were kidnapped has been confirmed! Captain and others are also near them……ah──there is also Mononobe Mitsuki’s signal!」

Jeanne Hortensia’s excited voice resounded through the bridge of Naglfar.

Right after that, the monitor that was displaying the unknown territory was filled with bluish white light.

Then the black haired little girl who was standing quietly at the edge of the bridge until now──”Black” Vritra lifted up her face.

「This is Neun’s authority──however seeing that Mononobe Mitsuki is safe, that means they didn’t choose the method that I taught them.」

Vritra muttered that, but her expression didn’t look that disappointed.

「Is the unknown territory disappearing?」

Shinomiya Haruka asked Jeanne with a voice that was filled with expectation. However the expression of Jeanne who was running her eyes through the observation device stiffened.

「No……the existence of something gigantic is detected from inside the unknown territory──Atla, adjust the brightness and display the image!」

『Mu……originally I won’t listen to anyone’s order than master but……I’ll make an exception just for this time.』

Atla puffed up her cheeks in discontent, even so she projected the image in the biggest monitor just as requested.

「This is──」

Loki narrowed her eyes seeing the silhouette that was appearing inside the light.

That silhouette was covered with a lot of gaps. The outline was twisted and its appearance was far removed from the natural functional beauty that living creature should have.

Of course that was the case──the squirming shadow inside the blue light could only be described as countless bones that were fused messily with each other.

It was just as she said. That shadow was only formed from skulls. They were so big that they could be distinguished even from the far distance image. Jeanne let out a shocked voice.

One of the nine heads had a gigantic size that clearly surpassed the rest. Atla confirmed that and immediately reported her analysis report.

『No, it exist in the database. The biggest skull──it’s almost exactly the same match with Bahamut’s skeletal structure!』

Hearing those words, Vritra touched the vine collar that was binding her power and formed a stiff smile.

「The dead and the corpses of calamities……the nine headed dragon that embodied demise, huh. There is no form than that that is more fitting for the one that will destroy the world. It looks like the time where we have to fight together has arrived──my comrade.」
