Chapter 23: The Trinity!

I barely made it.

Yes, I just barely made it for everything.

First, I was able to become one with Marle and became capable in using magic at the last day.

Because we only finished training at the last minute, we were running  out of stamina and mana when going out of the Room of Time’s  Interstice.

I was told that the great sage Enlight and his daughters are already fighting, but we weren’t in a state to fight at all.

That was why I decided.

We would rest for thirty minutes.

We gulped down the most effective mana recovery enhancement potions  and stamina recovery enhancement potions in our possession, and in  addition I loosened the seal’s first limit for just a bit in order to  make use of Evol Ork’s power while lying down.

This is the technique that I learned in the Room of Time’s  Interstice. It’s not complete liberation of the seal’s third limit, but  loosening the seal and only took out the power that I required in  minimum amount.

But only my stamina recovered with that, while my mana was still completely insufficient.

I used a secret trick for that.

While I was sleeping, I asked Tita and Kururu to pour mana into Marle  with all their strength. Furthermore they were the priestess of the  protector wind and the priestess of sword. They were loved by the  spirits of wind and spirits of fire respectively, so they were able to  call for mana.

Originally it’s impossible to absorb other people’s mana, much less the mana of the nature.

However, the adaptability of Marle who is the endlessly evolving  slime made it possible. After Marle absorbed the mana, as someone who  knew everything about my mana and body, she could convert the mana and  even used slime cells as a link to connect to me and poured the  converted mana into me. With that my mana could recover in short time.

Like that we recovered our strength with the fastest method that I could possibly think up before coming here.

「I’m invincible with my wives’ love filling me up.」

「Otou-san, don’t get cocky!」

Marle’s voice came from inside my body.

Right now I’m fused with Marle.

She turned into slime cells, entered my body, and the part that can’t fit inside me became the wings on my back.

Slime cells can become anything. It can also freely change shape, solidity, and even weight.

It’s the strongest weapon that is capable to respond to my will to become anything.

「So that’s the demon king of the system.」

「So strong. We can’t win like this!」

The demon king dog opened its mouth.

Tremendous heat formed inside the mouth.

Originally it’s just a standard magic of medium level monster to breathe out fire ball.

But because of how powerful it is, the flame turned into plasma. That plasma is breathed out.

My wings flapped to dodge.

「Marle is, coating.」

Slime cells wrapped all over my body and became a cool membrane.

The coating evaporated by the plasma’s after wave even though I had dodged.

If Marle didn’t coat me, it would be my body that got evaporated.

In addition, the demon king dog brandished its claws that are sharper than Japanese katana from the direction where I dodged to.

It vanished and appeared right in front of us the moment our wings  flapped and we took some distance. It’s short range teleport magic.

I resolved myself and unsheathed the sword that Kururu forged.

The sword and claws clashed. I got sent flying and crashed on the ground.

……I couldn’t cut the claws. This is the first time I found a material that Kururu’s sword can’t cut.

「Marle cushion!」

My wings became a soft cushion that neutralized the majority of the impact.

The demon king dog descended at me.

「Steel Spear」

My magic circuit worked in full strength.

My mana flowed with intensity that surpassed my prime. The mana  poured into the magic formula without any noise at all and the magic is  completed.

Countless steel spears grew from the ground around me as an improvised trap.

The demon king dog charged toward it.

While smashing the iron spears.

「Marle booth.」

The cushion turned into tubes and flame burst out from there like a rocket engine. It gave me super acceleration.

I flew in low altitude through the evacuation route that I secretly  made amidst the countless steel spears, then after I got out from it the  tubes became wings once more and I ascended.

At the same time there is a dull sound and the spear mountain is completely crushed.

……But, the trap activated because of that destructive power.

Thanks to us making the iron spears by borrowing material from  underground, the underground is hollow and became a bottomless pit. The  thing fell into there.

「Umm, sensei. You fought against that thing for half a day?」

「That thing is bad news.」(Marle)

It’s overwhelmingly stronger than I imagined.

To be honest, I would have died a long time ago without Marle’s support.

Marle’s ever changing transformation. The side  effect of our special training.

This is our first time practicing it in real battle, but it’s usable.

I nodded.

It’s just as he said.

I wasn’t just doing special training with Marle during that one month.

「Pseudo magic circuit generation, complete. Coating the whole magic  circuit, muscle strengthening, skeletal structure strengthening,  altering magic formula processing style from parallel processing to  series processing, improving soul toughness……we can start anytime!」

Marle who became one with me.

What does it meant to become one? It means reconstructing my burnt  out magic circuit with Marle’s cells, and connecting with the existing  circuit on top of that. Furthermore the existing circuit also got  reinforced by Marle’s cells to be improved a level higher.

In addition, Marle also reinforced my muscles and skeletal structure  with her cells to make me able to endure even greater strength.

And then, there is the calculation when using magic. Until now each  of our soul was carrying out different processing of calculating  multiple formulas simultaneously in parallel.

But, by switching to doing it in series, we are processing a single  magic formula in super high speed while increasing our processing power.

Marle also stimulated the power in the blood of Kaa-san……the hero to  pour the hero’s power even more to my soul to increase its toughness.

By carrying out all of these, I became able to endure the tremendous strength that I was unable to endure before this.

Yes, the tremendous power that I couldn’t endure unless I went this far.

In other words…….

「Second Limit Release」

Removal of the seal.

The liberation of the second limit.

That was the domain that was outside of my limit of maintaining my rational mind.

The second limit release is a level where it’s possible for me to  return to normal if there is a miracle, but in this state I’ll fall into  a state where I can only rampage like an animal.

Yes, until now that is.

My limit in being able to maintain my human form where I could make use of my technique and magic was the First Limit Release.

However……if it’s me who became strengthened from fusing with Marle.

If it’s her, it’s  possible for her to leave behind her mental clone in me. With that she  could do something like calling me back from my Second Limit Release.

I can’t control this power by myself, but Marle and Lilith are with  me. With Marle strengthening my hardware and Lilith strengthening my  software…….

「GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!」

Claws approached right before my eyes.

And then I unsheathed my sword and met it head on.

I got thrown back before this.

The claws and sword clashed once more.

And then…….

「WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY」

The claws twirled in the air.

The holy sword Kururu forged cut through the demon king’s claws.

I continued attacking. I hardened air to make foothold in the sky and stepped forward with a palm strike.

The size of the opponent is enormous. Cutting it with a sword would only leave a scratch.

That’s exactly why I used this.

A palm strike to release the mana and ki I accumulated explosively into the enemy’s body.

First it got sent flying by the impact. Before it crashed on the ground, my ki and mana bloated up and exploded inside its body.

Its whole body other than its head burst, but using causality correction it’s like my attack had never happened.

When I landed, the great sage stood at my side.

He is staring at the regenerating demon king dog with deep interest and opened his mouth.

I released the magic formula that I almost completed.

It was the mass conversion to energy that the great sage directly  taught me……or rather the simplified version so that I could use it.

Compared to the great sage, my simplified version only has fifty  percent conversion rate, even so it’s the greatest magic that I have.

Marle screamed.

This absurd power only came about because he went that far. The  attack displayed this much power even after the great sage and me had  annihilated the demon king dog many times and whittled down the power of  causality it had.

Suddenly heat left my body and I fell on my knee.

Strength is leaving me.

The magic formula cut off.

「Otou-san!!」

In the first place this land is called as a land of death because of  the aftermath of the battle between Tou-san and the others, but now  there is only a giant hole in front of me.

……This is, if we are in a middle of human settlement than a single country will perish from this.

「Good work.」

I said that and fell. So tiresome, I can’t stand anymore.

A girl fell on top of me.

It’s Marle who came out from inside my body.
