Patreon Ideas

The live let's watch would be for me to pick up on things like I normally do but for me and Patrons to just hang out and have fun. I'd also put the chat box in the video so if someone is watching it after the fact they can see what I'm replying to If I do the patron only thing it'll be time Exclusive. Basically the review will be private on YouTube and the reaction unlisted on vidme for a set period. Perhaps 4 days to a week and then made public after that time. Just don't know if I want to do it for al patron requested series or just some. And if it's just some Idk how we will determine which ones will get this time Exclusive treatment. It's basically what RT does with RWBY. You can watch it on their website if you pay a monthly fee or wait a week to see it on their YT channel.

I also think that it's a dangerous idea to make patron only live reactions. It might work ok in cases when they are patron only for a week and then are uploaded on YT for everyone else too. Look up Blind Wave, they are doing exactly that and their main pitch at the end of the videos is if you want to watch the next episode become a patron or wait a week. EDIT: Oh, I somehow missed the discussion on that subject so I've just repeated what was said already. As for Live Let's Watch videos, I'm indifferent on the subject. Mostly because of time zones differences I doubt I'd be able to join much of those. Watching these later without seeing the chat would be awkward as well. It'd also distract you somewhat and might cause to miss some details so some series might fit for that, but others wouldn't as much.

Should it be done for all patron requested series or just select ones? How do I determine which ones will be delayed. Maybe it shouldn't be a week but maybe four-five days?

I definitely took that into account but I feel like Patrons deserve something more than just being able to request a series for me to check out. I understand some people don't have a way to do Patreon but even 1 dollar helps and that 1 dollar would give them access to the reactions. I guess I'll forget about that idea right now. I wonder if the live let's watch should be Patron Only? The problem with that is I don't know how I can restrict a live stream to only Patrons. I'm just trying to create more incentive to become a patron and also give current and future Patrons more perks.

I'm all for the "Live Let's Watch" idea, that's something I'd be fine with. People love live streams, man. Just look at Twitch these days. However, as for the other one, the "Patreon Only Reaction" one. That's... a real quick way to piss off your fan base, in my experience. So if you're going to go through with that one, you'll have to think of some other quirk so that it's not literally just "I'm putting content behind a paywall now." Because if you have a fan who's hoping you're going to react to a certain series, and then you react to it and it ends up being only for patrons, that fans reaction is just going to be either disappointment or anger. You've done a good job with your fanbase so far, but unfortunately all it takes is one slip up and it all goes south. Just look back to the FineBros incident a little while back.

Regarding the live let's watch idea. Are you able to livestream a picture in picture of the episode live?
