The Young Boy and the Red Haired Girl are the same. The Boy was young GOblin Slayer, and the Red Haired are the Woman in the Ranch. She was lucky and get to the Town, and then the same Day ( or Night ) they got attacked by Goblins, and Young GOblin Slayer must watch how his Village get destroyed, but what cause him the most heavyst Trauma was, that he must watch from his safe Place under the House how the GOblins Rape and slaughtered his Older Sister. Especially if you inform a bit about things from the LN, and i found out... GOblin Slayer was 8 years old when that happend.... Elder Sister Goblin Slayer deeply loved and respected his elder sister, saying that she never failed at anything. Her death greatly affected his psyche, plaguing him even to this day. And one more thing. The Reason why the Cares so much about the Place where Cow Girl ( GOblin Slayers Childhood Friend, the Red Haired Girl) lives is simple. He was the only Survivor of his VIllage allong with her ( she survived thanks to the Fact that she got to the Ranch of her Uncle). Orcbolg is the Name, the Elfs give Goblin Slayer. Even the Dwarves have one for him, but i think we will hear him next Episode.
