Missing/unclear details for this episode : - The anime skipped Emperor Jircniv's meeting with Aura and Mare, which had some rather nice details. Jircniv received Aura and Mare in his palace, offering refreshments and whatnot while attempting to glean what he could from Aura and Mare's mannerisms. Aura tried the drink the servants offered, remarking that it isn't poisoned but also isn't very good (both remarks surprised Jircniv, because his palace serves only the finest of beverages and because it was apparent that Aura was suspecting poison yet drank anyway). Jircniv was also pondering the bizarreness of Aura and Mare, since a pair of dark elves riding a dragon is not exactly what you'd expect as emissaries from a place that's being referred to as a "Great Tomb". He theorized that perhaps it was some kind of tribe of dark elf dragon tamers that moved into the Great Tomb, but quickly cut off that line of thought for being too speculative given the limited information at his disposal. Seeing Mare's more timid nature, Jircniv considered the possibility of, in the future, trying to get him to do Jircniv some small favors in exchange for bettering the conditions of the elves living in the Empire, and then holding the performance of these favors over Mare's head as blackmail material at a later date. More serious talk then began where Jircniv queried regarding the specifics of Ainz' demands and the degree to which he personally ordered Aura and Mare's actions in coming to the imperial palace. Of particular interest was the question of how long Jircniv had to prepare for the journey- Aura made him sweat a bit by announcing that he must set out immediately, but eventually revealed that Ainz defined "immediately" as however long Jircniv needs to make preparations and set the affairs of state in order before setting out (he required several days). Finally, Aura tried to rattle Jircniv a bit by telling him that the soldiers in the courtyard were properly squished, but that Mare could help his people to at least extract the corpses from the ground if he were to request it. Much to Aura's displeasure, Jircniv accepted the offer to show that he wasn't rattled and also because enchanted gear is very expensive, so retrieving the arms and armor of the dead guards would help recoup some of the losses, and because laying the dead to rest in a proper burial would help morale. - Leinas, the female member of the Four Imperial Knights, suffers from a curse that disfigures the side of her face and causes it to secrete yellow pus. She is essentially a mercenary who got her current position due to her skill at arms alone. Her open unwillingness to give up her own life under any circumstances is why Jircniv had to agree to let her prioritize her own survival in order for her to accept the offer. Jircniv was forced into the situation due to "vacancies" having been opened in the ranks of the Four Imperial Knights some years ago when Gazeff killed two of them during one of the bloodier annual wars between the Empire and the Knigdom. - Jircniv's carriage was heavily enhanced with all manner of enchantments, including magical air conditioning. - The expedition protecting Jircniv's motorcade included a contingent of hippogriff riders equipped with cloaks of invisibility that covered it from the air. - When the weather was changed upon Jircniv's arrival at the outskirts of Nazarick, he had to remove his cloak in order to confirm what the others were feeling as his cloak is enchanted to regulate the temperature around his person. - Jircniv considered assassinating princess Renner on occasion, but she keeps coming up with various brilliant ideas for reforms that, while doomed to failure in the dysfunctional Re-Estize kingdom, he is able to copy and successfully adopt for the empire so he always ends up abandoning the idea. Whenever Jircniv tries to figure out Renner's thought process from her actions, however, he always gets an uncomfortable feeling like getting tangled up in a spider's web, which is why he finds her creepy. - The Death Knights frightened Jircniv's bodyguard so much that he suggested taking one of the maids as a hostage. Yuri and Lupus were close enough to hear, but merely smiled at him. He then realized that the maids are "probably" even stronger than the Death Knights themselves. - Nazarick's kitchens prepare food of such quality that it provides buffs when consumed, it's only natural that people who have only ever eaten mundane food to be overawed at the refreshments offered to them by Nazarick. - Jircniv's party made quite the tour through Nazarick. By the time they reached the doors of the Throne Room they were quite thoroughly overawed at this otherworldly realm and were utterly scared shitless of reaching its master, to the point where Jircniv was relieved that the doors of the Throne Room opened on their own as he suspected that his men would not have been able to bring themselves to open them on their own. - The anime cut out a major part of the Throne Room scene- the entire chamber on either side of the aisle was supposed to be stuffed full of a massive number of high level monsters of all sorts, the sight of which made Jircniv reassess Ainz' threat level from national to global. - Jircniv wears a pendant that protects against mind effects, which is what allowed him to resist Demiurge's command. - Jircniv had rationalized the creation of Death Knights by assuming it involved some kind of taxing ritual, so seeing Ainz creating one with but a gesture was a yet another powerful shock for him. - When Ainz spoke of their new alliance being worthy of celebration, Jircniv's inner monologue was "You mean, to celebrate the day you made slaves of us?!" Words that wisely remained quiet. - The Aura and Shalltear's reaction to Demiurge explanation of Jircniv's probable future course of action was far more severe in the novel, prompting Sebas to shut them up by reminding them that they're in Ainz' presence, followed by Albedo telling them that they should just enjoy Jircniv's antics as they would a clown since it's all a part of Ainz' master plan. Upon hearing THAT Ainz had this rather amusing bit of inner monologue: "Hooh… Ainz-sama’s plan, huh. I see. A special plan concocted by someone with the same name as me. Making the Baharuth Empire ally with and struggle against Nazarick was part of that plan too, huh… I have no idea what that’s all about. If only I could ask this Ainz fellow about it!" - In the novel scene where Ainz revealed himself to Fluder the geezer straight up kissed his boots and renounced the gods of magic that he worshiped up until that time.

Mathias

True, since he is a natural deterrent.

Anriku

The Emperor can't really do anything about Fluder, except restrict the flow of information to him, since that old man's still incredibly powerful in this world and removing/demoting him would cause other countries to attack the suddenly very weak Empire.
