This is relatively correct. I'd just say that pope Gregory was not solely responsible for the combination of vanity and melancholy into pride and sloth. Extremely notable early theologians were already debating this in the 5th century. In particular, saint Augustine was talking about the separation of those sins and he was 4th - 5th century. Not that this takes away from your point, just providing some context from a history nerd. Pope Gregory didn't just randomly decide to do that, he had at least a hundred years of theological debate to go through before him before deciding that.

We learned in season 1 that the big ass tree that was used to kill the White Whale, was called the Sage tree and had name Flugel, for the Sage that was part of the trio (hero, sage, dragon) that sealed Satella. So my guess is Petelgeuse knew the real Sage and that his name was Flugel. This is still only my analysis from anime, I have not read LN. ps. Who calls Emilia "Lia" most of all from Zero characters...so Puck = F.....a

Acedia: sin of neglect (a form of spiritual sloth) and Vainglory: or vanity, the sin of unjust boasting and narcissism Pope Gregory (590-604) removed these sins claiming them to be other forms of sloth and pride. Also, my own guess ass to what when Emilia said " she is my Real Mother" and FOrtuna that she is the Daughter of the 3, it could mean more like either something happend to Fortunas Brother and Emilias Real Mother ( as you can guess, she was a Human, which is why Emilia is a Half Elf) and they transported her Fetus into Fortuna, or otherwise, it only means that her Mother gave Birth to her and something happend to her, which left Fortuna effectivly raising her like her own Daughter despite the Fact that Fortuna is Emilias Aunt.
