Well Ukyu used to be a SONAR worker so he pretty much a tecnologycal guy. And if he joins and senku creates something like that, he will be very valuable on de fence. What i can see in a future is senku making a full railway connecting the caves and other places of interest to carry minerals and more, everything is getting into place.

2021-02-05 11:05:47 +0000 UTCMy off-the-wall theory is that Ukyo is more like Gen in terms of being more concerned with power and self-interest than ethics. He seems wily and clever like Gen, but clearly has much more violent power and seems to have military experience. He might be just simply trying to do a coup on Tsukasa and take over his empire just for the sake of power, and Senku's forces are convenient for that. I doubt this is really the case but it would be a super interesting dynamic, especially since they already explore allies that aren't actually heroes like Gen and Magma.
