Losing his family, being abandon my his real remaining family...being adopted by a Shogi Master with one highly competitive child, it's just way too much for any child to deal with. In the next episode we got to see Rei WITH PEOPLE! He was tasked to pick up sweet little Momo! And Hina invited him to dinner because she felt his gloominess!
