Peach Boy Riverside Episode 3 Reaction

This is probably my favorite episode for the simple fact we get to see more of the Ogres and a Kishin too! We also seem to be introduced to the main antagonist! I also am excited about the ending of this episode where Sally must make a decision. I am excited for Episode 4 to say the least!

This man probably wants the continued violence between between.

Slaughter w/ a Berserk Swordsman or Coexistence w/ a Silver=Tongued High Ogre, the choice determines the outcome for a LOT of lives but it's hard to choose either... hahaha

Sumeragi the Puppet Master... a fitting title, I must say, and I couldn't have said it better myself, dude! He stoked fear, wove the situation's truths into a convenient web for him to ensnare other ogres in to manipulate them, all to achieve some goal, one that's not likely "peace between humans and ogres" as he so casually spouts to Sally...

AlduicS

Same tbh. Considering he has one that lives with him apparently. I am digging this show so much. LMAO!

One day, I swear, folks in anime will understand well enough to NEVER, EVER underestimate children/small people, because just like old people, they're often far more dangerous/wise than what they seem... then we'll have less deaths by being too reckless/careless in the presence of an enemy! Lol

Feels like Mikoto does go around the lands, slaughtering all ogres & monsters, and if he comes across a humanoid one, he strips them of their power to leave them effectively harmless in the eyes of society... I do wonder how many he's left in these situations tbh

AlduicS

I can see what you mean, but for some reason that made this episode so much better for me. We got so much in it.

Anriku

Oh? I don't know what you're talking about. ;)

Anriku

Hey, I caught that (not so) subtle nod towards my comment about Mikoto's "foot stab" being an absolute flex, mister! I bet you think you're being coy and all, huh?! Lmao

AlduicS

So far, outta these initial three episodes of rearranged events, I'll say this might have been the most "jarring" for me since it felt like several scenes were paced too differently while throwing us from scenario to another, though I didn't mind since I'm all for this "wild ride" of a show!
