2021-07-28 18:57:52 +0000 UTCPersonally, I do believe Makoto's stuck with "Level 1" permanently, or at least, for now thanks to interference by this world's ruling deity, who stripped away his "hero" title/status that he was supposed to be granted, which could have then bugged the level system to lock him out.... or maybe since he was born to isekai parents on Earth, it messed with it & glitched the system since it was not made to withstand otherworld conditions?

2021-07-28 14:39:33 +0000 UTCOn the basis of "you don't know," the "valiant female samurai" that Makoto mentioned & named Shen after, was "Tomoe" Gozen, was first mentioned in 14th century Japanese literature, as she was involved in the conflict that brought about the first shogunate (though she has yet to be proven an actual historical figure & not someone made up in folk lore, but she's INCREDIBLY well known & influenced generations of samurai)

2021-07-28 14:23:01 +0000 UTC"Meta Commentary" in isekai anime always makes me chuckle, so having Makoto randomly spout off stuff like "compulsory events" and "conquest routes" for heroines definitely endears him more to me as an MC... makes me look forward to see what he'll say next! Lol

His source of all his power in from a god for one, but my doubts for that theory are from the people still seeing him have mana. I wonder how level is measured. Is it from Mana or something else. I'm not hopeful that will be answered but will be cool if it is.
