2021-09-05 18:05:07 +0000 UTCSoumas Idea behind why he put Wheels on the Albert was, that he needed a Siege Weapon and he remembered seeing Railway Guns in his Old World ( Rather Big Cannons, mostly from Ships or so, put on a Special Chassi to move around on Rails) so he used the Albert for that. It was Pulled by Rhinosauruses ( In the Novels it was said that those Massiv Beasts pull something that you could call a Cargo Train), whats more due to his Knowledge he installed those Anti Air Repeating Bolt Throwers on the Ship ( Normaly Wyvern never fight against Ships from any Navy, since they hate being over Water, they Panic if they cant see Land anymore) so no one ever thought about mounting those Bolt Throwers on a Ship, and Souma was playing with that Way of Thinking and lured the Wyvern Knights in. Its mentioned in the Novels that Anti Air Repeating Bolt Thrower were specifically designed to counter wyvern cavalry, and it is Landia's Standard anti-air weapon. It is similar in appearance to modern rocket artillery batterys. The bolts that are shot with this weapon are enchanted with Wind Magic to give them more Range and also homing magic. Repeating bolt throwers are usually mounted on stationary objects, mostly Castle Walls. Three idioms that became popularized within this world because of this war: Lord of Altomura: a person who makes promises they can't keep. Randel's One-Night Fortress: To use everything at your disposal to achieve an objective. Attack a Castle with a Battleship: Doing a thing that no one has ever thought of before.

2021-09-05 17:39:47 +0000 UTCIf nothing goes wrong I'm going to declare this fight over this is all about timing those wyvern are already at his side & once he defeat carmine with another clever strategy he is going to send his 40,000 soldiers plus the 10,000 plus the 1,000 air forces & we shall see what aminodia is going to do with that problem. Now you have a full army outnumbering yours & having to lay a siege yeah good luck with that!

2021-09-05 17:06:07 +0000 UTCI went & look this up just to make sure that I remember it & yeah the sunomata reference is actually a true story, it was a castle built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi at the siege of Inabayama castle the story goes that he built it in one night although they say it might have taken 2 or 3 days to make, I think he used pre assemble pieces to built it that fast. It was a clever strategy because it gives you a staging ground for your army close to the enemy's base.
