I don't think it is Neo due to the fact that Ruby and the gang are two weeks ahead of Cinder and Neo. Miss Muffit said that the kids left about two weeks ago. The farm incident was only two days after Ruby left so unless the gang has been at Juane's sister for a while I don't think the baddies have caught up.
