Personally, as I've only finished Season 1 (at the time of this comment), I can see why Noragami was so popular and widespread back in 2014 while it aired, and why it could stay relevant while the 2nd half of Kill la Kill aired consecutively in the same Winter season.... Winter 2014 must have been a fun season of anime to watch weekly!

2021-06-04 04:00:57 +0000 UTCSo you might not remember it by now, but fun fact, your translation group used "Phantom" to describe the monsters in this series while the subtitles I have call them "Ayakashi," which does sound more unique than the translated version but also harder to say. Moreover, the spirit weapons used by the gods are called "Divine Instruments" in what I have, while your subtitles referred to them as "Regalia" which I think both translations work tbh
