Okay, "The Tale of Hiyori and the Yato God" picture book presentation was so damn wholesome, sweet, and feelsy... I mean, hell, Yato spent all his hard-earned (5-yen coin) savings from his many, many miscellaneous odd-jobs over the years to buy the art supplies to create this book, all so Hiyori could remember him... that's how desperate he was, willing to essentially give up on his dream of building his own shrine, or at least, delaying it by many more decades/centuries, all for the sake of one mortal girl's memories... THIS IS SO SWEET!

He wishes to have his name spread wide and far, to earn devout followers and have offerings, so why not make use of his drawing skills to do exactly that? On account of what Hiyori asked, if he was a "manga artist," he could definitely draw some outstanding works, make a serious profit, get his name out there for recognition, earn a following (not exactly as a god though), and be putting it to good use as well!
