I do agree, Kugaha's a real bastard, but damn it, the whole trope of "whittling away the bonds, set two groups upon each other, and profit" tactic can be really entertaining (and heart-breaking) to watch play out...

I feel the whole "it's better to cry than to hold it all in" line from Yato in regards to Yukine's lamenting that Hiyori (might) eventually forget all about them as she gets older, is a motto you live by when it comes to reactions.... not a bad thing, just shows you're more open about if a scene's beautiful/powerful/depressing as fuck lol

30 years, man... that's a crazy amount of time to hold onto a single promise made with a living person, to see the cherry blossom tree sprout & bloom together, & ultimately staying the same young age for those 3 decades while your summer (mortal) friend eventually stops visiting you... Damn, Suzuha, you just put it into perspective how wide the gap between the living and the Regalia can be, if Yukine's situation from Season 1 wasn't enough to enlighten us viewers...

It was downright precious & adorable that Yukine was so, so intense & excited to inform everyone that he made a proper friend (outside of Hiyori) that he could spend time with, shooting the breeze and whatnot... it makes the feels follow-up all the more painful though....

This season is overall better, yep but there is also an annoying guy to replace Yukine from first season.. kugaha is a bastard :/
