It was cool for this series to introduce the concept of "Scourge," which are basically "Curses" that can be bestowed upon people, items, weapons, and places built up from negativity like bonds that have unraveled & been corrupted, and come at the cost of corrupting the user when using said power

2021-06-08 05:40:18 +0000 UTCOnce you've had awhile to meet & understand the characters, setting, power system, and worldbuilding of a series, let's say a whole season's worth of time, it is understandable to say a follow-up season seems better already because everything flows better, you're more engrossed in the story, and... well, not every series has the best first couple arcs, or the writer hasn't found their true groove yet so you see how the storytelling progresses and come to enjoy the show more as it goes along!
