2021-06-11 08:22:30 +0000 UTCIt was previously mentioned, or at least, alluded to that "gods of calamity" are more prone to fading from people's memories, most likely out of fears from the unknown & darkness that they can bring about... plus gods, Regalia, and Phantoms are typically (almost damn near) invisible to regular mortals, so maybe memories of Yato are gradually rewritten by natural processes, making it harder for him to achieve his dream of earning a following... now add all that together & it makes sense why unknown gods, especially Yato, are so fearful about being forgotten, thus fading out of existence... shit's a tough life for newer gods!

2021-06-11 08:05:28 +0000 UTCIt was all groundwork previously laid by this series, that is to say, the action & intent "naming of Phantoms" is a reasonable development that could've come from what we have seen in terms of naming Spirits, the souls of dead humans, to turn them into minions, aka Regalias... it was something I should've seen coming, damn it!
