That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Episode 20 Reaction

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Episode 20 Reaction

Comments

So this comment is coming late and all, but with this episode, the anime finally drops several degrees in terms of adaptation quality, as there were a couple of mini-arcs cut out just to reach this point and it's unfortunate because that also removes some good world building, characters, and interesting foreshadowing type of developments... And while I don't /hate/ the decision to skip those arcs to move onto the "Save the Kids" arc, I am rather disappointed in Tensura and it breaks my heart... What makes it worse is that the skipped arcs had characters that were teased in the Opening Song but will not be prevalent since they lost their spotlight.

Btw i found some good Informations about Otherwordler and Summoned People, based from the Light Novels INformations: World Travelers, Transmigrator, Other Wolder or "Foreigner" 「異世界人, Isekaijin literally meaning "Other World People"」, refers to people who came from another world through reincarnation and are called Reincarnated 「転生者, Tenseisha」 or through summoning and are called Summoned 「召喚者, Shoukansha」. Background In history, there were several cases whereby some people were either reincarnated, summoned, or came to this world by accident. In some cases, they were summoned here, hence the Summoned Ones. On the other hand, they could have arrived from another world by accident, or were simply reincarnated. There was not a fixed way of how the World Travelers came. Being reincarnated tends to happen randomly, especially those whose souls with strong intentions engraved upon them. Although there are those among the reincarnated whom still remember their past life, to have reincarnated from a different world is exceedingly rare. Moreover, one would normally be reincarnated as a human. However, there are very few exceptional cases. For someone to be reincarnated a monster, and from magical energy itself, is something that remains unheard of. As for those whom came to this place by accident, it also happens randomly. However, unlike those whom undergo reincarnation and have to be reborn, they arrive here with their original bodies intact and whole. In addition, they still retain their original memories. In any case, setting aside whether method they came by, it is a known fact that those whom came "naturally" will possess special intellect and acquire some unique skills, based on the characteristics of the individual themselves, naturally upon their arrival. Its pretty common that Summoned Ones tend to have Curse Obedience etch on His/Her Soul to make them Unable to go against the Summoner. A Summoned One 「召喚者, Shoukansha」 refers to those whom have been summoned from another world. Background For the summoned ones, there exist very few forces capable of summoning them because it requires very definite circumstances to be prepared as to allow one to summon a person with powerful abilities, especially those whose will is exceptionally strong. The necessary conditions for a proper summoning are as follows: -The success rate of the ritual with thirty magicians chanting summoning magic over the period of three days is less than 0.03%. -The magicians whom has just cast summoning magic will be unable to cast it again for a set interval. -The cool down period ranges from 33-88 years, the time during this period is used to prepare the suitable environment as to increase the success rate of the summoning. However, if the summoning were to be conducted under incomplete conditions, it can be done continuously. But the downside of improper summons such as these usually results in children being forcefully summoned with abundant magic infused into them as a result. Unlike the World Travelers whom are guaranteed to possess a unique skill, the summoned one's rate of success of gaining a unique skill is relatively low, with a curse carved into their souls in the bargain. The rampaging magical energy of the curse within will cause their bodies to implode, fried alive by the very power they possess. The recorded lifespan of those improperly summoned without a unique skill is 3-5 years. Therefore, unless a unique skill is obtain, death is certain.

Maybe he gave her life force since he needs her vessel?

I thought Ifrit was the reason why Shizue didn't die after 5 years.

The Blond Girl in the Bath was Ellen, the Adventurer Girl who Travels with the other 2 Guys and we first saw in Episode 2 when they entered the Cave. Shizue was only 4 Years old when she got summoned. There is a Reason why she didnt died after 5 Years... but i dont know the exact details for myself. Only that it get revelead much later on ( Not in this Season, maybe in Season 2 or even first in Season 3) It really is a shit System. Kids under 10 Years die within 5 Years ( i read that some can die only days after they come into this World, others can live 4-5 Years before there Body collaps and get destroyed from the Massive Magic in there Body) Hinata is another Summoned World Traveler. We saw her in the First Opening already: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/tensei-shitara-slime-datta-ken/images/6/6b/Hinata_Anime1OP.png/revision/latest?cb=20181004174147 Btw there is know only 3 Episodes left ( Episode 21,22 and 23 with Story relevant Material from the Light Novel) Episode 24 was confirmed as a Non Cannon Fun Episode and Episode 25 is about Veldora, what he is doing inside of Rimurus Body since he absorbed him and analyse the Prison.
