2019-04-05 04:35:03 +0000 UTCAnd yeah, I don't believe the Mother's to blame whatsoever for what happened to Hyakkimaru, Daigo (the Dad) did go to the Hall of Hell, alone, to make the deal without her knowledge and only brought it up when she saw what happened to her child. Demons don't seem to care about consent from the Mother lol (And it's also feudal Japan, so basically, consent isn't really even a concept yet XD) And I don't think she worships the Goddess of Mercy per say, but the statue itself because when the demons took Hyakkimaru's body parts, part of that lightning bolt strike was deflected into the statue, which shattered the head as if it was a divine protection. Maybe it's the reason he wasn't killed instantly but barely clinging to life?
