thats a bit of the problem with the show I think. that you can't be sure if they understand each other. I feel like thorfinn also didn't understood what any soldier said

2022-02-16 12:13:38 +0000 UTCIf only there was more time for the old woman to save Thorfinn physically and mentally with her kindness and good nature... he could have possibly been rehabilitated if he was experiencing that comfort and happiness for a longer period of time, that's what I truly believe. Unfortunately, it did not seem like luck was on his or the old lady's side, and thus came the invasion of the Pirates and the loss of Thorfinn's way outta this hell...

2019-09-15 09:15:56 +0000 UTCMontage of Multiple Battles & Kills makes it super easy to witness the literal & figurative growth of our MC Thorfinn as he slowly but steadily racks up an impressive body count for his age! Might I say, tis' very cool for Thorfinn to dual wield two daggers, a nice skill that allows for double the danger and freedom for agile movements that swords don't always allow~ Lol

2019-09-15 09:00:55 +0000 UTCHonestly, it makes so much sense that Thorfinn would (technically) join Askeladd's Band of Pirates, since it's much easier to keep track of his revenge target rather than to wander off sometime, train, and then attempt to track him back down to kill him. He'd waste so much time and effort, and this also ensures that Askeladd can't weasel his way outta of the revenge, nor die without his knowledge. Lol
