Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 19 Reaction

Hands down the best anime episode of the season. This was hype and beautiful on so many levels.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Episode 19 Reaction

Comments

Thanks! Enjoy it! I'll be watching the movie and reacting to it. :)

Thank you so much for the awesome reaction! You were as emotional as I was and always am while watching the episode. The music an animation at the end breaks me everytime. It's just a masterpiece that leaves you breathless and in tears. Ufotable wrote history there in my opinion and I can't wait for the movie finally releasing where I'm living. Keep up the awesome work and once more... I'm diving right into the next reaction! =)

Rina

Such a great anime!

Just had to see this again. A huge reminder for me why i love anime so much. Certain moments in anime i just haven't seen in other entertainment platforms. They have their own strengths but dang anime can be something else sometimes.

Peacefinder Simply

That's incredible. Then you have Arifureta's author throwing up in their mouth from it's adaption. XD

Anriku

Interesting. Well, can't wait to see the other fights in the series then!

Anriku

Perhaps its a burn considering they seem to worship the fire god.

Anriku

Yeah i read that the Author Koyoharu Gotōge stated before the Episode would aired out official on TV, that she watched the Episode before and she cryed after it. She also stated that she watched the Episode nearly 20 Times after the first Time ^^

Ufotable sent their standards bar into the stratosphere, making it nigh unlikely to be surpassed in the final 7 episodes... What's cool is that, from what I've heard, this fight was nowhere near as epic or long in the manga, so Ufotable surpassed expectations for even the manga readers!

One theory I've come up with after this episode, is that alongside the Hinokami Kagura Dance & earrings, it seems like the scar on Tanjiro's forehead might be a tradition among the family, seeing as how his father had the exact same scar, and young Tanjiro did not... so it seems like maybe the eldest males are purposefully scarred, maybe to denote succession of the dance?

The Lower and Upper moon format is very cool and I can't wait to see the Upper moons. I wonder who took Kyogai's spot as number 12, though.

Anriku

Yep. Pretty insane. The Lower and Upper Moon format is cool too. Can't wait to see the Upper moons!

Anriku

So I've come to learn that the Twelve Kizuki are separated into 2 Groups, the "Higher" and the "Lower" with 6 individuals per group total... and since Rui was the Lower 5th, that means overall, he's number 11 of the Twelve Kizuki.. Crazy to think how he strong he is, and yet he's one of the group's weakest... Lol

AlduicS

Hinokami Kagura can be translated as " Dance of the Fire God" The difference in the Twelve Demon Moons: The Twelve Demon Moons are divided into two groups, the Upper Moons (上じょう弦げん Jōgen?) and the Lower Moons (下か弦げん Kagen?). Each has their number engraved into their eye, with the Lower members having it in only one, whereas Upper members have it in both. This number signifies how strong the member is, with Upper Moon One being the strongest and Lower Moon Six being the weakest overall. (Which means, Rui is " weak" compared to the Rest. Lower Moon Six is the weakest, and Lower Moon Five comes after it.) Or in other Comparison, Upper Moon One is the Nr.1 in the Twelve Kizuki, and Lower Moon Five is the Nr.11. Btw, i think i saw for a mere split of a Second in the last Scene, before Tanjiro chopped Ruis Head off, that the Rest of his Black Blade turned into some Sort of a Crimson Red, when Nezukos Blood was on the Blade and she then" activated" the Blood Demon Art of hers.

HERE WE GO, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
