That's an interesting thought. I would say his dad wants Zack as a vessel as you stated. I mean, he did look at him like a doll.

2019-08-21 23:20:58 +0000 UTCI think the whole thing with Polina is that the earth was dying, so she (and the other ARKs) went to search for long-term habitable planet (because the one we have seen so far aren't habitable for long term, except maybe the one where they sent the kids at the beginning for the camp), and now for some reason the earth didn't die when it was supposed to, that's why she was surprised by the date. Maybe the Astra was an ARK too, since they are the same model. I also think Zack's dad and Quitterie's mother were working together since they are friends. The thing that has my interest is Zack's dad "looking at him like he was a doll" , even if you don't like your kid it seems weird. Maybe his father didn't view him as a human because he was a clone too. Zack says his father needs to solve one final thing in order to achieve his "memory transplant", maybe he needs someone compatible with those memories, like a younger clone of himself.

2019-08-21 20:12:35 +0000 UTCI think the big issue with Polina is that A. her and her whole crew seemed to be from Earth searching for habitable planets, but McPa seemed habitable and was a short distance from where the kids left from (which may or may not be Earth.) Besides that the dates given and the "12 years" answer really rattled her.
