Added 2019-10-10 17:06:18 +0000 UTCWell, this was disappointing. I'm not going to say much, but when the ending credits have more animation than the episode itself....that's a problem. I'm going to give this 3 episodes and if I'm not happy with it, I'll be moving to the manga.

2019-10-10 18:56:13 +0000 UTCThe reason for this is that the SDS anime did not perform well at all in Japan (tv ratings, blu ray sales etc.) so as a result of that Aniplex removed it from A-1 Pictures cause it's one of their best studio and have them work on better or at least stuff that make more money for them and gave SDS to a smaller studio like Deen but here's another thing. So Aniplex moved it from A-1 to Deen and they are not actually the ones doing it either, Deen outsourced the whole season to an even smaller studio called Marvy Jack so there is no real budget or care for it. It's the same case as with Tokyo Ghoul Re the whole thing is outsourced to a smaller studio just to be done with it. It really sucks when the anime to some series doesn't perform well cause like the mangas for SDS and Tokyo Ghoul as well were always top 10 and even 5 best selling mangas every year. SDS sales droped down a bit now though and Tokyo Ghoul already finished last year.

2019-10-10 18:44:00 +0000 UTCI don't really mind the censoring because Diamond is Unbreakable had the same thing for TV release with the whole pitch-black over the wounds. But the manga has pretty violent stuff, so that will be a lot of censorship, and the white blood doesn't help (I don't mind it on demons but on humans it feels off). And damn it felt like watching a slideshow with voice acting, I would rather have animation like OPM season 2 where the figths were a bit messy rather than ... well no fights at all.
