SAO Alicization: War of Underworld Episodes 1-2 Reaction

It sucks to see Kirito in this state...It's awesome to see Alice back in action though!

SAO Alicization: War of Underworld Episodes 1-2 Reaction

Comments

Really like your SAO reactions, thanks for sharing :) To clarify a bit the "Underworld" rules system (not very well explained in the anime) and appreciate more Alicization. In the Underworld you have Object and System authorities (can be leveled up) But in most of the fights it's about strong "will" and visualization (since the whole system is built using fluclight technology) In episode 1 since alice is lost and don't have the will to fight. That's why she's saying she has "lost" her power. Also there are 2 types of artificial fluclights, most are the obedient types (good childs) and the other type is the "greedy" fluctlight due to their origin. The seal of the right eye also acts like an "hormone" making all of them far more obedient than a normal human. It explains why all of them can't break the law and also why Rath thinks they are not real AI. The only exception they could detect was Alice. That's why Rath is focused on getting her.

About Amayoris Help when the Goblins attacked Rurid Village: Once the villagers were far away from centre of the plaza, Alice called her dragon to rain down fire on the invaders. Several moments later, Alice called her dragon again, but this time only to intimidate the invaders, as Amayori was not yet ready to fire another heat ray. (Amayori is capable of stockpiling thermal elements within herself and then unleashing the elements in the form of a heat ray.) Alices Fragrant Olive Sword is an OP Weapon like Kiritos Night Sky Sword since it is a Divine Class Object. With the «Armament Full Control Art» in effect, the sword is capable of splitting into hundreds or even thousands of golden flakes of flower petals, each measuring less than a centimeter long. The petals have an absurdly large weight, are capable of high-speed and unrestrained movement in the air and can become sharper than a slender sword’s tip. A single petal possesses a clout of a giant’s fist and is capable of splitting a rock into two or breaking the ground upon touch. The swarm of flower petals is controlled by moving the sword’s grip. Even in its regular state, the sword has an absurdly large weight and power, capable of easily repelling any sword that comes into contact with it in battle. The sword was once a fragrant olive tree that had grown at the bank of a beautiful spring at the heart of the village of Centoria, where the Central Cathedral was later built on. Although the olive tree did not seem to have any irregular aspects to it at all, it was the first "immortal" object created by the Goddess of Creation Stacia, thus the sword has the attribute of eternal immortality. Thats also why it has an extremely high Priority Class Sry for the long Texts again,

Left out Details and Informations from the Light Novel: Since Alice did not have the funds to rent an inn nor the desire to exert her authority as an Integrity Knight, she decided to travel to Rulid Village, hoping that the villagers would welcome them. However, when she met with her father, Gasupht Zuberg, she was told to leave instead. With the help of Garitta*, Alice built a cabin two kilolu from the village for her and Kirito to live in. While there, Alice used the most powerful healing Sacred Art she was able to, but was unable to heal so much as Kirito's missing arm. Even four months after her attempted healing, Kirito's condition remained unchanged. This was the Scene from the End of Ep1 in the Light Novel: After Eldrie had left, Alice took Kirito to bed, where she recalled what she had heard about the «World End Altar» located in the Dark Territory. She questioned what was there and whether it was worth attempting to reach, considering the option of ending everything by taking Kirito's life as well as her own. Unsure of what to do, Alice began to weep. Alice spent the entirety of the following day writing letters to Selka and Garitta, apologizing and saying goodbye. Because Eldrie had learned of her cabin, she could no longer stay there as she feared that Bercouli, whom she could not refuse, would come in Eldrie's place to persuade her to help the Defense Army. After deciding to let Amayori choose their next destination, they went to sleep once more. Also a Detail that they let out in the Anime about Amayori: On the day Alice decided to build a log cabin and settle in, she released Amayori from a binding art placed on her and told her that she was free to return to the flying dragon nest in the west. However, Amayori refused to leave Alice and made a bed out of grass next to Alice's log cabins. For the following several months, she would fly out during daytime to play in the forest and catch fish in the lake, but would return to the cabin on every night. *Garitta was the sixth generation cutter of the «Gigas Cedar» in the outskirts of Rulid Village, and the last cutter before Eugeo and Kirito were assigned this «Sacred Task». P.S.: The Platinum Oak had a Durability of 19600, and ten Men hacking on it took it down after a Day to only 19132 Durability. Alice then 1 hitted the Poor Tree with a normal Sword Slash. ^^ Also, in the LN, Alice wanted to slash the Mens Hands who stole the Blue Rose Sword, but she restrained herself. "Suppressing the urge to sever the hands of the men who took the sword from Kirito, Alice forced them to return it to him."
