Idk if we learned this before, but finding out Senku isn't even Byakuya's biological son was huge for me. This man took in a child that wasn't his own and raised him to be the person he is today. Gave him everything he ever needed. Byakuya is such a good dude!

Look, I'll admit, I've cried multiple times from this episode's events and their meaning, once or twice per rewatch and... well it still fucking hurts my heart & soul to hear the utter pain in Senku's VA, to see him break down in his own way over his father's death, to see him at his most vulnerable state ever... watching a tear roll down his cheek and hit the grave was something else... such a damn good episode, my personal favorite (with some seriously strong contenders)~!

2020-01-06 11:12:48 +0000 UTCCan't help but admire the (extremely) strong parental love that Byakuya feels for Senku, enough of it to transcend 3,700+ years into the future... it fits the whole "Love you 3,000" (+700) line from Avengers Endgame~!

2020-01-06 10:56:20 +0000 UTCIf anything, my guy, Best /Man/ & Best Father Byakuya was not only a "good dude," but one hell of a human whose actions make him an unsung hero, the foundation for humanity's salvation through all his tireless work to establish Senku's gift... what a crazy old man, that's for sure... Love this dude so much!
