I am a simple man.. I eat, sleep, and dream like everyone else.. but I must say, watching the extreme violence that occurs in Vinland Saga pleases me greatly. From Askeladd's skills with the sword to Thorfinn's knives slicing & piercing flesh, the fights are... in a word, "beautiful," a true sight to behold as WIT Studio put forth an incredible effort to animate them so wonderfully. Censorship was practically nonexistent as eyes were gouged out, heads were cleaved off, limbs were separated from their owners' bodies, and as the blood turned the winter snow crimson with each man killed... it's truly the work of a great studio, and writer, to make this so epic as brutal as it is... I am not one for gore, I am usually squeamish as hell, but perhaps watching series like VS & Dororo has strengthened my tolerance a tad, or the anime do it so well it's easier on the eyes~
